The Day I Woke Up – written in the mid-90s I believe this somewhat ‘live’ version was part of an unexpected album project called ‘One Afternoon in August’ – some wonderful musician friends (Ben, Paul Nowinski, Darmon, Lauren) and I wandered into Acoustic Recording in Brooklyn and just started recording a bunch of recently written tunes of mine and some covers. A very spontaneous, creative and rewarding day. Mixed by Jody Elff.
